On the very day Lin Xiaoman returns to Qinghe Village, the children's study shelter collapses in a rainstorm. She promises to turn an abandoned granary into a new classroom — but the granary's tenant gives her just one month. With a steady carpenter, a retired teacher, and the whole village, Xiaoman builds a classroom around real problems, growing from an impulsive promise-maker into an organizer who knows how to listen, share, and plan for the long term.
